Our Mission

​NOVA Debate is a nonprofit camp run by experienced high school and college debaters and coaches from across the country. We offer instruction for students of any experience level, whether you regularly compete at national tournaments or are entirely new to the activity. We are deeply committed to fighting inequity in the debate space by creating a camp that's not only highly educational, but free to all who wish to learn, creating the broadest and best community for everyone looking to improve at debate.

Camp 
Description

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, NOVA Debate will be held online this year! Students will meet over Zoom, joining small groups with set instructors called labs. Outside these, instructors will teach via lectures on specific subjects, broader camp-wide discussions, and one-on-one office hours. While the camp is free to attend, donations to the DC Urban Debate League are encouraged. For more information, visit the about page!
